An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.
Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
