The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode ended with a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might look mismatched, but the events of the third episode show why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to go next after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his own means, invading the secret base, striking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each character has a individual motive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could enable the team access places they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The healer defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can expect discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
